The Kind Body® was created in 2017 after years of struggling with rashes, crow lines, sagging jowls, and sunspots. We became frustrated with endless expensive products and solutions that did not work. That is until we decided to take matters into our own hands (literally) and create our very own organic skincare line. We make sure each product is all-natural and plant-based, toxin and gluten-free providing nothing but the pure benefits of plants. Our skin began to change overnight!
One of the best discoveries we found during this journey was using organic plant butters and oils to replace the nasty synthetic ingredient lotions on the market today. Now, you may think or have been taught that a healthy plant butter or oil will be greasy and clog the pores of the skin, but this is not true. In fact, plant butters and oils have two protective layers. When applied, the first layer is immediately absorbed into the skin, providing incredible nutrients such as antioxidants and omegas that protect the skin from damage and aging. These butters and oils are also packed with the ability to provide the skin with elastin and collagen, keeping the skin plump and glowing. They are good for the body as well.
What confuses many is after the first layer of butter or oil absorbs into the skin, a second protective layer is waiting to be absorbed. This layer is what some people feel leaves the skin greasy, making them nervous that the pores may clog. However, the truth is, this layer is also loaded with the same nutrients as the first. It provides a double dose of protection. All you have to do is give your skin a little time to absorb it. You of course can wipe this layer off, but why miss out on more bang for your buck? Plant butters and oils provide long-term protection without clogging the pores that synthetic lab ingredients just cannot match.
